Craggily Village is a grounded, character-driven drama set in a picturesque South Oxfordshire village where everyone knows each other — and no one expects anything to go wrong.

That illusion is shattered when Raj, a well-liked local shop owner, is fatally stabbed after his phone is stolen. What initially appears to be a random act of violence quickly takes on a darker meaning when it emerges that Raj had unknowingly filmed suspicious activity at an abandoned milking factory on the edge of the village.

As members of the community begin to connect the dots, suspicion falls on William Blake — a respected local councillor with influence, charm, and something to hide. What unfolds is a slow-burn unravelling of corruption, coercion, and abuse of power, tied to a wider criminal operation operating in plain sight.

The story is told through an ensemble of interconnected characters — friends, families, and neighbours — each affected in different ways as the truth surfaces. As pressure builds, loyalties shift, secrets are exposed, and the line between justice and revenge begins to blur.
